Product Details

Natural boron B has two stable isotopes, namely B10 and B11. Among them, B10 has extremely high thermal neutron absorption capacity, with a cross-section as high as 3837 targets, and a wide absorption energy spectrum. After absorbing neutrons, it does not produce strong secondary radiation and is easy to post-process. In the nuclear industry, it has advantages such as efficient and stable absorption of neutron radiation, and no secondary radiation release.


The technology possessed by the company has improved the purity of the materials. The company has also improved its sintering process and reduced the loss rate of boron carbide materials.


Regarding the production of ceramics, the company has two processes: pressureless sintering and hot pressing sintering. Products with different processes have different advantages and are suitable for different scenarios. Pressureless sintered ceramics have high cost-effectiveness and are suitable for mass production. They are suitable for use as bulletproof materials, seals, nozzles, wear-resistant and temperature resistant materials, as well as common nuclear power materials. Ceramics produced by hot pressing sintering are suitable for small-scale production, can be made into larger sizes, and are suitable for use as nuclear power core materials, semiconductor materials, target materials, and bulletproof materials.
