Natural boron B has two stable isotopes, namely B10 and B11. After absorbing neutrons, it does not produce strong secondary radiation and is easy to post-process. In the nuclear industry, it has advantages such as efficient and stable absorption of neutron radiation, and no secondary radiation release.

They are suitable for use as bulletproof materials, seals, nozzles, wear-resistant and temperature resistant materials, as well as common nuclear power materials. Ceramics produced by hot pressing sintering are suitable for small-scale production, can be made into larger sizes, and are suitable for use as nuclear power core materials, semiconductor materials, target materials, and bulletproof materials.
